College Baseball Recruiting: A Father's Insight
- how to help your Son achieve their dream
My name is Chris Hilal. I am married and the proud father of 3 kids who all played college sports. My 2 sons played baseball. One played D1 and the other D3. Both had great experiences! My daughter rowed D1 crew. I’m glad you found my site because we have something in common – wanting to help our child achieve their dream of playing college baseball. You don't need a recruiting service. You can do it on your own!

When my oldest told me he wanted to play baseball in college he had my full support without hesitation. The problem was I had no idea how to guide him to achieve his goal. I had no college contacts nor did I have any friends or family that had been through the process. I started reading, talking with people, and researching as much information as I could get my hands on.
I figured it out. It wasn’t easy. Yes I made some mistakes along the way. Together with each of my kids we did it on our own without using a recruiting service. All of the time spent was worth it! Each of my kids achieved their dream. I can't describe the awesome feeling I had when they each received the offer they wanted and saw their face light up!

You can do it too!
I want to openly share what I learned with you. If your son is hitting 400 ft homers or is a lefty pitcher throwing 90 mph, you’re probably all set. However, if your son is an average to above average player, there is definitely a college for them to continue playing. The trick is how to find the right one and get an offer. I am excited to share my insight with you to help you and your son get there! Independent of your son’s high school grade, now is the perfect time to start the recruiting process.
